Buffalo Beast blogger Ian Murphy got a lot of acclaim from the far left (aka MSNBC) when he punked Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker by calling him and pretending to be billionaire David Koch. I’ve got not problem with that — he was trying to reveal something about somebody in an unguarded moment, and if Walker had answered the phone with, “Yes, my master, the plans are underway, and the destruction of America is imminent! Bwa-ha-ha-ha” Mr. Murphy would be a hero (there wasn’t any real story there, BTW — Walker talked respectfully as any Republican would to a major donor. And if he talked with Koch so often he knew him personally he never would have fallen for the prank in the first place, so the only story is — Scott Walker IS a politician but IS NOT a puppet of the Kochs).
